At Encompass Animal Chiropractic, we are dedicated to helping animals in all walks of life, whether they are companion animals or high-level competitors. Our mission is to provide the best care possible to ensure that animal can live a healthy and happy life. We believe that every animal deserves the same level of care and attention, regardless of their background or status.
Dr. Alex has a passion for performance and sport horses, which helped shape her fascination with equine biomechanics and locomotion. She believes that not just the bones needs to be adjusted/aligned but that the musculature, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues all need to work together cohesively to get the desired outcome for your animal. This is why she integrates soft tissue work and stretching into her adjustment routine, to ensure the best possible outcome is being achieved.
Meet Dr. Alex Sievenpiper
IVCA Certified Animal Chiropractor
Dr. Alex Sievenpiper is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic, certified in Animal Chiropractic by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA).
She attended Berry College, where she recieved her Bachelor of Science with a degree in Animal Science before obtaining her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University. She then attended Options for Animals - College of Animal Chiropractic to receive her certification for animal chiropractic by both the college and the IVCA.
Dr. Alex has been an avid horse person and began showing in the local circuits at the age of eight. She then continued her show career in both GHJA and IEA from middle school to high school. She has competed in Reining, English flat, Western Horsemanship, Hunters, and Jumpers. While receiving her undergrad at Berry College, she rode on the Berry College Equestrian Team all 4 years, making it to National Finals twice.
Dr. Alex continues to show and ride today in the jumper classes on her Rhinelander gelding, Compass, whom the company is named after.
